The Walk With Scott Foundation awarded Active Schools East Lothian £12,000. The money will be used to provide support, training and equipment, minimising barriers to participation in sport and physical activity for children and young people. Colin McGinn, vice-chair of the Walk With Scott Foundation and a Tranent ward councillor, said: “The Walk With Scott Foundation’s main ethos is to promote positive health and wellbeing throughout East Lothian. “Funding awards such as this one for Active Schools supports our ethos and encourages inclusion by bringing people together in our communities. “This is a significant award for the foundation to make and one that we feel will make a big difference to children and young people in East Lothian.”
