A preliminary report from the National Transportation Safety Board suggests a late October plane crash that killed two UND students likely was caused by two or more Canada geese hitting the plane, UND's aerospace dean said.
John Hauser was a student majoring in commercial aviation from Chicago, according to a statement from UND President Andrew Armacost.
