JOINT BASE PEARL HARBOR HICKAM, Hawaii. — The U.S. Navy launched the 28th edition of the biennial Rim of the Pacific (RIMPAC), the world’s largest international maritime exercise, today.
This year’s exercise includes approximately 25,000 personnel from 26 nations.
Twenty six countries have commenced the 28th edition of biennial multinational maritime exercise Rim of the Pacific (RIMPAC) 2022.
RIMPAC is going back to what they call full-scale operations. However, several residents are concerned about the environmental impacts the military exercise leaves behind.
