The Cabinet, chaired by Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Tuesday approved an additional subsidy of Rs 200 per cylinder under Pradhan Mantri Ujjwala Yojana (PMUY) beneficiaries. At present, the beneficiaries have been receiving Rs 200 per cylinder since March. This will be making the total amount that they will be receiving Rs 400.
