OSHA filed a lawsuit against the hotelâs operator and owner. By Shereen Hashem Apr 05, 2021 A Texas hotel worker was illegally fired after going to the hospital regarding exposure to carbon monoxide. According to a press release, in January of 2019, a worker at Holiday Inn Express & Suites hotel alerted his or her employer of the exposure which made him/her sick. The employee refused to call an ambulance after requested to do so or help in any way. The employer allegedly threatened to terminate the employee. After going to the hospital, the worker was fired.
