A new carbon dioxide (CO2) capture pilot plant is to be installed by Mitsubishi Heavy Industries, Ltd (MHI) at Himeji No.2 power plant in Hyoho, Japan as part of a project which aims to demonstrate MHI’s ‘next-generation’ CO2 capture technology.
A project being undertaken by building materials manufacturer Heidelberg Materials (Heidelberg) and Mitsubishi Heavy Industries (MHI) has seen the delivery and installation of a compact carbon dioxide (CO2) pilot capture system at Heidelberg’s cement plant in Edmonton, Alberta, Canada.
