Workington students show off maths skills in competition
Students of a Workington secondary school competed in a maths challenge event that featured teams from across the North West of the county. St Joseph’s Catholic High School hosted the Math’s Feast for Cumbria North on Tuesday March 30 with 15 teams of students taking part. The challenge for year 10 students was designed to be both fun and educational, testing problem solving skills, critical thinking and the ability to work as a team.
