True. the u.s. never promised to ever protect the kurds. but many thought it would end in the more managed fashion. there were 28 troops pulled back. they were not about to be obliterated by advancing armyie. after the past 48 hours, we're seeing troops rallying and leaving a different syria behind them. certainly in the meeting at sochi, that we will see today, between russia and turkey, maybe a peace can be oranged by moscow, who backs the regime, the new alley of the kurds here. there may be troops inside to left to side syria. but make no mistake, oil is not
