Importance of Evaluation department overlooked—Sethrongkyu

KOHIMA Advisor of Information Technology and Communication, Economics and Statistics and Evaluation, Sethrongkyu, on Tuesday, stated that the Evaluation department can check all the government departments and their related development activities in the state despite the importance of the department being overlooked by many. Sethrongkyu reminded that the department could contribute effectively if its employees actually understand their roles, responsibilities and works assigned to them. “We should be diligent enough in discharging our duties and assignments given to us,” he said. Students should know their history to take society forward, says Nagaland legislator Kikon

Our Reporter Dimapur, Oct. 15 (EMN): Advisor of Information Technology, Science and Technology, New Renewable Energy, Mmhonlumo Kikon, on Saturday urged students to know their history in order to take the society forward. “If one doesn’t know one’s own history, one will not become a problem solver or make impact in any conclusive discussions. Nagaland spelling bee championship underway

Several districts in Nagaland observes 'Prabhat Pheris'

Dimapur, Aug. 9 (EMN): As part of the “Har Ghar Tiranga” campaign, government officials, police personnel and students in several districts of Nagaland took part in ‘Prabhat Pheris’ (morning procession) on August 9 by carrying the national flags. In Dimapur, police personnel led by the Commissioner of Police, Rothihu Tetseo, organised the morning procession from his office to clock tower. Before commencement of the procession, Tetseo briefed the police personnel about the flag codes and rules and directed all uniformed personnel for observing “Har Ghar Tiranga” by reminding them that it was a duty of the police.
