Microsoft has been aggressively pushing the use of its Edge browser on Windows PCs and it seems like the efforts have yielded results. The browser is now as popular as Apple's Safari among desktop users around the world.
According to data from web analytics service StatCounter, Microsoft Edge is now used on 9.54 per cent of desktops worldwide, a mere 0.3 per cent behind Apple's Safari, which stands at 9.84 per cent.
