Saladrigas is a 40-year veteran of law enforcement, who worked as a special agent with the Florida Department of Law Enforcement in Miami and Orlando for over ten years. Prior to that, he served as a sworn member of the Miami-Dade Police Department where during his tenure, he was assigned to the Homicide Bureau for 11 years, the Internal Affairs Section, Public Corruption Unit, and Robbery Bureau. He honorably retired from the MDPD after 28 years at the rank of police sergeant.
