Fairfield man arrested for drug possession, resisting arrest

Oquawka, Ill.- The Henderson County Sheriff's Office reports the arrest of a Fairfield, Iowa man on multiple charges. According to a news release, 37-year-old Spencer W. Bright of Fairfield was arrested for Aggravated Battery to a Police Officer, Possession of Methamphetamine and Resisting a Peace Officer. A Deputy responded to a motorist report of a suspicious male subject walking southbound on IL Rt. 522 near US Rt. 34 in the Township of Gladstone.
