But it also means that there will be the risk of a pretty strong rip current in some of the coastal areas of north and south carolina. then the risk of the afternoon thunderstorms. so if you re driving to a destination, watch out because some of those thunderstorms could really reduce your visibility tremendously. also during the afternoon, you start here and there you could see that flare-up of storms as we go toward the evening and storms across the northern tier, and the dakotas and into minnesota. we could see damaging winds and large size hail with a very languishing weather system. how hat is it going to be? temperatures in the 90s. dollars 97. as not as hot. but it does appear as if the weather trend as far as thunderstorms is concerned, it begins to taper off tomorrow and more so for july 4th. so we ll salvage part of the holiday for you. back to you, ryan. thank you so much. let s talk more about this now with henry hartfeld, the ....

Activity across the entire country there s a lot of humidity out there. big afternoon thunderstorms. tropical storm at the coast of the carolinas but somewhat of a quick mover but we re going to see winds at about 40 miles an hour. if you are looking here across portions of the outer banks and wondering about your entire holiday weekend, this is going to be moving through on sunday, sunday evening by monday morning the day on monday, on july 4 is going to be a fine beach day. for the next couple of days tropical storm warnings from myrtle beach all the way up the coast we can see it rip current risks britt heavy rain at times fairly strong winds. the way the system is currently move its way up the coast you do notice most of the heavy rain, most of that thunderstorm activity is out over the ocean. dryer right along the coast but still going to be a storm system that is moving through. means we could be seeing rainfall totals of at least a couple inches across its entire region. the win ....
