The Times-Reporter Today is the day I’m supposed to plant my peas. Crazy isn’t it? We’ve not yet escaped the nightly frosts that are keeping spring at bay, but it’s time for those little nuggets to go into the ground. The Times-Reporter I have mentioned my aged, but much beloved car before. This winter, true to form, it has been an absolute gem, starting immediately, and almost stopping on the slippery spots in the driveway and at stop signs. Although it is a heavy truck-type van, it does not have four-wheel drive, and is not quite of the tonnage that plows though snow and ice without a little manipulation.
