Future Takes awards up to £90,000 per project, offering a vital stepping stone to progress the careers of emerging filmmakers.
The BFI and Film4 have revealed nine short films funded through Future Takes, thanks to investment from Film4 and BFI National Lottery funding.
Each selected filmmaking team is set to be awarded between £55,000-£90,000 to create their projects.
The flowers, which are closely associated with Spring, started appearing in May, rather than April, due to a delay in decent weather this year.
