According to WMTW, a much deserving Maine family were the recipients of a random act of kindness and received the gift of a lifetime. Tunnel to Towers Foundation, a New York-based foundation, started to honor firefighters who lost their lives on 9/11.
11 years ago, U.S. Army Private First Class Buddy McLain lost his life in the line of duty while serving Afghanistan. Buddy left behind a young son and his wife, Chelsea Mclain. Chelsea, who resides in Peru, Maine, with her son Owen was surprised to find out that she was 1 of 20 recipients having their mortgage paid in full by the Tunnel to Towers Foundation. ....
