The Air Connectivity Program, alongside its key partners in the ecosystem in the Kingdom, expressed its welcome to the Italian national carrier "ITA Airways" on its first direct flight from Rome to the capital Riyadh.
Saudi Arabia has established the Air Connectivity Program in 2021 to work with air carriers and airports with the aim to launch additional routes and flights to targeted destinations. The Kingdom is seeking to become a global aviation hub through several initiatives and programs, at the forefront of which is the National Aviation Strategy, which seeks to connect 250 direct destinations to and from Saudi airports, increase air traffic, and raise the volume of cargo.
PETALING JAYA: Malaysia and Cambodia have agreed to accelerate the process of reviewing bilateral cooperation between the two countries in crucial sectors through the Joint Commission for Bilateral Cooperation (JCBC), says Prime Minister Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim.
The inaugural flight departed from Maharishi Valmiki International Airport in Ayodhya at 1.35 pm, scheduled to arrive at Pune International Airport at 5:50 pm with a stop at Indira Gandhi International Airport in Delhi at 3:05 pm.
