The Director-General of the National Pension Commission (PENCOM), Aisha Dahir-Umar received millions of dollars in estacode for foreign trips even during the Covid-19 lockdown, documents obtained by SaharaReporters have shown. The documents further revealed that the PENCOM boss received millions of dollars from 2019 when she was an acting Director General of PENCOM and continued in 2020 when she was confirmed as the substantive DG.
The Centre for Public Accountability (CPA) has demanded that the anti-graft agency Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC), should immediately probe the Director-General of the National Pension Commission (PENCOM), Aisha Dahir-Umar. Meanwhile, the CPA Executive Director, Olufemi Lawson, commended the Independent Corrupt Practices Commission and Other Related Offences Commission (ICPC), on its effort to probe Dahir-Umar.

The group in a petition to the EFCC expressed dismay over alleged high-level corruption in the PenCom under Dahiru-Umar. The petition was signed by its Executive Director, Olufemi Lawson.
The National Association of Nigerian Students (NANS) has denied the bribery allegations levelled against the association by an anti-corruption organisation, the Global Integrity Crusade Network (GICN). GICN had alleged that the Director-General, National Pension Commission (PenCom), Aisha Dahiru-Umar paid bribes through one James Umeh to some NANS officials in tranches of $10,000, N3,000,000 and N2,000,000.
