North Raleigh Christian was ranked second last fall out of all teams in the eastern half of North Carolina, no matter what association they played in. This fall, the Knights are ending the year No. 1 in a statewide ranking after capturing their sixth straight N.C. Independent Schools Athletic Association championship. Four teams in the final statewide top 25 belonged to associations other than the NCISAA: the Alamance Acers and New Life Camp Storm belong to the N.C. Home Educators Athletic Conference, Union Grove Christian plays in the N.C. Christian Schools Association, and Sheets Memorial Christian plays in the Christian Schools Athletic Conference. ....
