Joel Jankowsky retired in 2019 as a partner with Akin Gump, where he was a public-policy specialist in the law firm’s Washington, D.C., office. The Jankowskys spent a year-and-a-half on their Palm Beach renovation, an award-winning project designed by Palm Beach interior decorator Leta Austin Foster.
