May 28, 2021 Photo: Getty Images A Troy man pleads not guilty to a second degree murder charge for the killing of an Albany man earlier this month. Damien McCaskey was indicted by an Albany County Grand Jury for the death of Danny Pearson Junior. Back on May 10th, a shots fired report came in from the 300 block of First Street between North Lake Avenue and Judson Street. Upon arrival, officers found Pearson injured inside of a vehicle. He was taken to Albany Med, where he later died. McCaskey remains in custody without bail.
