Chattanooga FC Breezes to Independent Cup Championship Naglestad Scores Twice in 5-0 Victory Over Soda City Saturday, July 24, 2021 - by Joseph Dycus Saturday truly did feel like Christmas in July for Chattanooga FC. Instead of presents, they got a handful of goals and a trophy as the winner of the summer Independents Cup. While the visiting Soda City had some talented players, they were no match for the boys in blue, who looked bigger, sharper, and more athletic over 90 minutes. CFC triumphed 5-0 over their overmatched opponents.   “It’s an honor and a privilege to present the 202...

CFC Wins 1-0 Against Atletico Atlanta - Naglestad Scores Again Saturday, July 10, 2021 - by Joseph Dycus Midfielder James Kasak served a 20 yard ball into the box, and the most lethal striker in the city was on the other end. D’Amico owned the goal for the boys in blue during the 2019 NPSL regular season and in the Members Cup with just 25 goals allowed in his 27 appearances, for a .95 goal per 90 minute game average, good enough to earn all NPSL honors in 2019. The Florida native played in ...

Chattanooga FC Looking For More Success With Familiar Faces For 2021 Season Tuesday, January 19, 2021 - by Joseph Dycus By any standard, the Chattanooga Football Club had about as successful a season as one could have hoped for in the topsy-turvy year that was 2020. As the top side in their conference, CFC won the Independent Cup in the shortened preseason, and then made it midway through the NISA playoffs after the regular season. While COVID-19 forced the team and league to shut down for several months, and for the roster to be adjusted, often on the fly, the team still was competitiv...
