Crews are working on two construction projects on the Western New Mexico University campus, one of which will be finished in time for the first in-person live performance to take place at WNMU in more than a year. Outside the Brancheau PE Complex, the sculpture of a young horse representing the Mustangs, WNMU’s athletic mascot, was removed for much of the last year, as workers built a fountain, as well as stairs and a wheelchair-accessible ramp to connect the upper and lower brick patio areas. ....
