Bruce Meurer had his wood carvings of Eastern Woodland Indians on display during a one day exhibit last Thursday, Oct. 12. He also displayed Indigenous paintings and artifacts he has collected or crafted. All of the items were hand crafted. Meurer, an expert on indigenous people, also gave a lecture to three different classes from Algona High school that visited that morning.

The Kossuth County Farm Bureau appreciates all the businesses who donated to the Annual Shopping Cart Race event to benefit the Kossuth County Food Pantry in Algona. Together $2,750 was raised and will go to help those less fortunate.
