Bruce Alan Berg Bruce Alan Berg, formerly of Jamestown, ND, died at the VA Medical Center in Batavia, NY on December 16, 2020 from complications due to lung cancer. He was born on May 3, 1946 in Cando, ND to Alfred and Esther (Augustson) Berg. While growing up he lived with his family in Cando, ND; Egeland, ND; Devil’s Lake, ND; and Fertile, MN. He graduated from Fertile-Beltrami high school in 1964 and enlisted in the United States Marine Corps in 1965. He served an 18-month tour of duty in Vietnam from January 1966-June 1967, which coincided with the “surge” of US troops into the war. ....
