Sunday March 7th, 2021 3:30pm (Photo Courtesy: Jill Batcheller) It’s wild to think that a year ago this weekend was the final weekend of lacrosse for the 2020 season. I don’t think that anyone would have guessed that even an entire year later, we are still living in this “new normal.” It is truly impressive what has been done to make the 2021 season happen. There have been many sacrifices made, and extra work put in, to have teams stay safe and healthy over the course of the year. There is an endless list of people to give credit to at each university, as well as people who have helped provide live streaming to families and fans who are unable to attend games like everyone is used to. While we’ve seen many postponed games due to COVID-19, I think we all are just grateful to have some form of a season this year and so far the season has been great.
