After three weeks of searching for Alice Herrmann, Capitola Police finally had enough to arrest her suspected boyfriend after they found what they believe to her remains in Berkley.
Bay Area police are investigating a missing Capitola woman's case as a potential homicide.
El Cerrito police, which is leading the investigation, said that the family of Alice “Alyx” Kamakaokalani Herrmann reported her missing Dec. 12. The family had not heard from Herrmann for more than a week and she was last seen on Dec. 3 in Santa Cruz, according to police.
Alice Herrmann, 61, was last seen on December 3. Her boyfriend and former member of the band Mr. Bungle is a person of interest. Police in Capitola, El Cerrito and Portland, Oregon are looking for her.
