Enrollment and student fees are expected to go up at Coastal Carolina University starting in the fall semester, but tuition will not. The CCU Board of Trustees learned on Wednesday, May 1 that in-state tuition for full-time students taking 12-18 credits will remain at $5,820 per semester. Out-of-state, full-time students will continue to pay $14,814.

Undergraduate enrollment at Coastal Carolina University soared to nearly 11,000 this fall with a 5.2% increase. The college's board of trustees also learned Friday that the freshman retention rate grew to over 75%, eclipsing a long-time goal.
