Amazon has moved the Supreme Court challenging the Delhi High Court order which stayed the arbitration proceedings against Future Group before a Singapore tribunal.
On Wednesday, the Delhi High Court stayed the Amazon-Future arbitration which was going on before a three-member arbitral tribunal over the latter's Rs 24,500-crore deal with Reliance.
Shares of Future Group zoomed up to 14% amid the market crash today.
The high court also stayed a single judge's January 4 order that had dismissed the Future Group's pleas seeking a direction to the arbitration tribunal to take a decision on its application for terminating the arbitration proceedings before moving further.
