Since the introduction of new technologies, Amazon claims it has added more than 50,000 jobs at its fulfilment centres across Europe.
This is the latest example of Amazon incorporating generative AI and LLM technology into its existing products and services.
New data shows Amazon's workforce rise in automated machines. As the world gets more technologically advanced, more robots are appearing as workers in different companies to replace employees from their jobs, and this is something seen on Amazon.
The issue came to highlight when a bar graph pointing to the difference between the number of Amazon employees and robots getting thinner with each passing year. The Graph was shared originally by Sam Korus, who wrote that the robotics inflection was quite evident reading through Amazon’s robotics from just the past few months.
