Volusia won't open short-term rental complaints for at least 2 weeks
Volusia County will pause enforcement of short-term rental bans in parts of the county after weeks of lobbying from homeowners in Bethune Beach and Ormond-by-the-Sea. Volusia County councilmembers unanimously voted Tuesday for a "temporary suspension on the processing of new complaints" related to short-term rental operation in unincorporated parts of the county zoned for residential use.
