Man fined over £5,000 for selling illegal cigarettes in Slough

A man has been forced to pay over £5,000 in fines after he was found guilty to have sold illegal cigarettes in Slough. 43-year-old Muhammad Imran Naseer pleaded guilty to supplying one pack of 20 Marlboro Gold cigarettes in a packet that bore text health warnings that were not in English at an undisclosed Slough location on February 7, 2019.  For this, Naseer was fined £100, told to pay a surcharge to fund victim services of £110 and to pay costs of £4000. On top of this, Naseer was also fined for several other incidents in which illegal cigarettes and/or tobacco were sold. ...
