Apr 15, 2021 - known as the Back The Blue Bill - passed the Iowa House last night 63-30. The series of changes came in response to the trouble on Iowa streets last summer. If the Senate passes the Bill and the Governor signs it, it will make rioting a felony and will increase penalties for blocking streets and highways, destroying public property and criminalizes aiming lasers at police.
