Researchers have developed a new robotic prosthetic leg that improves "postural control." A newly developed Robotic Prosthetic Leg by North Carolina State University and the University of North Carolina improves amputees' movement to the point that it returns the subject to instinctively use natural movements and muscles similar to abled individuals, as reported by Interesting Engineering.
