Chief Justice of India-designate Justice Uday Umesh Lalit on Monday said that "a prophecy seems to be coming true. Amrapali case is not going to leave me soon".
The Supreme Court listed its priority to the Amrapali Group and said it has to first give buyers their homes and thereafter at the end it will "certainly look" into their claims of money lenders of the real estate group.
Those who want to take refund in lieu of flats were given time to apply for it till July 15, 2022. 1,800 Amrapali homebuyers have applied for refund.
