PEORIA — A man wanted in connection with gunfire that accompanied a fatal shooting in January at a Peoria gasoline station was apprehended in Texas, according to authorities. Officers from the U.S. Marshals Service took into custody Jamere T. Laster in the Dallas-Fort Worth suburb of Grand Prairie, Texas, according to Peoria police spokeswoman Amy Dotson. Laster, 25, was located Feb. 22. Laster was extradited last week to Peoria and arrested Tuesday on a charge of aggravated discharge of a firearm.
