MWC-PPD PEORIA, Ill. — Peoria Police responded to a ShotSpotter alert just before 4:30 p.m. Sunday near Glen Oak School. At least three shots were fired, and a house in the 2200 block of Wisconsin Avenue got hit with gunfire. Eyewitnesses reported seeing adults and children fleeing the area near the school. PEORIA — Two minors were arrested here this week in connection with the death of a Peoria teen during a botched robbery last month at a gun store in Galesburg. One of the teens, 17, was arrested on Tuesday, while the other, 15, was arrested on Thursday. Both were initially taken to the Peoria County Juvenile Detention Center, according to Peoria police spokeswoman Amy Dotson.
