Public Information Officer Amy Dotson said 10 rounds were fired. Officers found a male victim with a gunshot wound to the neck in the 1900 block of W. Ann Street. The victim was transported to a hospital with serious injuries. An investigation is ongoing. PEORIA — A Decatur man was accused Wednesday of first-degree murder in the North Peoria death of a tree-service owner. Michael S. Dyer, 58, was being held in the Macon County Jail on unrelated charges when he was implicated last week in the homicide of Jeffrey Blevins. The body of the 49-year-old Blevins was found Friday morning in a recreational vehicle parked in the 8300 block of North Knoxville Avenue in Peoria. PEORIA — A woman who was reported missing Wednesday night was found dead near East Peoria Community High School on Thursday morning. It wasn't clear what happened to Mona R.
