A preliminary hearing was held Friday for Asron Marquis Sellers, of Newport News, who is charged with first-degree murder in the Jan. 25 killing of 38-year-old Brian Fonville. Sellers is also accused of shooting and injuring a transgender woman in Hampton just days before.
