Police in Sarasota are searching for more victims after they say a postal employee was taking checks out of the mail and depositing the money into her private account.
A 27 year old Sarasota postal worked has been arrested for stealing checks in the mail. Anabel Ossombi, a mail sorter at the Beneva Road post office was arrested at work Wednesday.
At least 60 businesses were victims of stolen mailed checks amounting to more than $70,000.
