jerry nadler, a quote that says impeachment needs to be supported by the overwhelming majority of the public and we re clearly not there yet. to be fair to jonathan turley one thing he did say the clinton impeachment went through an entirely different process, which is an independent counsel, ken starr. a grand jury. things found to be illegal before it went to the congress. sure. and we, of course, 2340 lono lo have that statute. the process democrats pursued essentially an analog to that. the investigation in the house intelligence committee most compared directly to the way a prosecutor convenes a grand jury and subpoenas evidence and puts their chosen witnesses in front of that grand jury and then an indictment returned, which you could analogize to the house intelligence report delivered just a day or so ago. ....

Case, but it s an analog to one. and here s the problem with it, brian. those questions, despite what mr. trump said, were not prepared by him. they were prepared by his lawyers and carefully so. so many of the questions were, you know, rather precise from the mueller team. so many of the answers were incredibly vague. and i were adam schiff, if i were the democrats, i don t want that. it s a waste of my time. it doesn t get me anywhere and doesn t permit as an investigator to gauge someone s tone or demeanor or follow up with more pointed questions. i think it s a waste of time. chuck, late last week we saw a rare bit of emotion from you on the subject of our secretary of state. i surmised on the air friday night that it was exactly because you had taken an oath more than once to serve your country, and here s a guy, our secretary of state, famously graduated number one in his west ....

Case, but it s an analog to one. and here s the problem with it, brian those questions, despite what mr. trump said, were not prepared by him. they were prepared by his lawyers, and carefully so. and so, so many, again, so many of the questions were, you know, rather precise from the mueller team. so many of the answers were incredibly vague. if i were adam schiff, if i were the democrats, i don t want that. it s a waste of my time. it doesn t get me anywhere, and it doesn t permit me as an investigator to gauge someone s tone or demeanor or to follow up with more pointed questions if i don t think they re telling me the truth. i think it s a waste of time. chuck, late last week we saw a rare bit of emotion from you on the subject of our secretary of state. i surmised on the air friday night that it was exactly because you had taken an oath more than once to serve your country. and here s a guy, our secretary of state, famously graduated number one in his west point ....

Trump in california and new york as dan alluded to. but if you re not in wisconsin and michigan, if you re still on the fence, the democrats still have a lot of work to do. actually as a political rule of thumb always try to keep in mind newton s third law. every action has an equal and opposite reaction. the political analog is for all of the energy that s being brought to the table on the left, we have to assume the same amounting is being brought to the table on the right. if we ignore that, then i think the peril really is for democrats to sort of leave a lot of votes on the table where we could be going out there and still making a strong case for why donald trump should not be president. the other thing i m hearing from democrats is they are looking very much forward to knowing who the nominee is and having an opportunity to get behind a single individual hone a message against donald trump. as we watch this, we see a couple of things going on as we re heading to this debate in ....

Power on you giving me something that is personally beneficial. that meets the federal criminal analog of extortion. and that may be the house democrats plan to forget about the mueller report, move forward on something the public can seize on and understand really primarily an extortion case. you ve got politico reporting that the president is rewarding republican senators by tapping his fundraising network for members facing tough re-election bids. saying trump is exerting leverage over a group he badly needs in his corner with an impeachment trial likely coming soon to the senate. aren t these senators set to be jurors when and if this reaches the senate, would you go so far as calling this bribery? i don t know if it s bribery necessary. it s definitely jury tampering if you think about it in that sense. obviously they have their day jobs as senators, but in this unusual process, impeachment, ....
