German furniture brand Hettich Group plans to invest Rs 700 crore in India to expand its manufacturing units, creating nearly 1,000 new jobs. With the opening of a plant in Vadodara and a groundbreaking ceremony for another in Indore, the company will have five manufacturing units in the country. India is Hettich's second largest market after Germany, driven by the growing middle class.
