Sheep Wanders onto WNC Campus

A member of a fire prevention sheep grazing herd seems to be looking for a ride home after getting lost on the WNC campus last month.Many on campus may have noticed sheep grazing in the high meadows overlooking Western Nevada College this spring.
Well, it seems as if a member of that flock grazing to reduce fire danger decided to diversify his skillset by visiting the Andy Butti Welding Technology Center.
“He was ornery and unhappy about being called cute,” joked Sylvia Verdugo, division assistant for Professional and Applied Technology.
The unexpected guest stayed overnight but was dismayed to learn that spring semester courses were already well underway. ....
