TRIBUTES from people in south Cumbria have poured in following the death of 'inspirational' and 'heroic' Captain Sir Tom Moore at the age of 100. The army veteran won the nation's hearts during the first lockdown, when he raised almost £33m for the NHS by walking laps of his garden.
