RBC Heritage: More than half of Friday, Saturday tickets sold Bluffton Today The RBC Heritage said as of Monday more than half of the limited ticket supply has been sold for this year s Friday and Saturday rounds. The annual PGA Tour event on Hilton Head Island announced in January that the tournament would be held April 12-18, with attendance capped at 20 percent of capacity amid the pandemic. Tickets went on sale Feb. 18. We have definitely seen a quick response to ticket sales, tournament spokesperson Angela McSwain said. RBC Heritage set for April with limited attendance Bluffton Today RBC Heritage officials said Friday the annual PGA Tour event will be held April 12-18, with attendance at Harbour Town Golf Links limited to 20 percent capacity. The Heritage Classic Foundation announced the 53rd annual tournament at the Sea Pines Resort on Hilton Head Island will be held amid the COVID-19 pandemic “with limited spectators on-site and strict health and safety protocols in place.” Attendance in a typical year is 130,000 total for the week, spokesperson Angela McSwain said. Last year’s Heritage was postponed from its usual April date near the start of the coronavirus outbreak and later rescheduled for June.
