Former town officials in Sumner charged with theft
Former Sumner town officials Robert and Kelly Stewart were arrested Friday, according to select board Chair Mary Ann Haxton. The couple, a fire chief and selectman respectively, face a count each of theft by unauthorized taking. Both met $500 cash bail requirements the same day.
