Starla Anderson is a retired teacher; Deborah Nohr is a teacher and served as a school trustee from 2011 to 2018; and Carol Pickup is a former school board trustee and former Saanich councillor. All three are public-school advocates.
The initial plan was to sell 1.9 acres, but that was dropped to 1.28 acres after discussions between the board and the hospice society, with the remainder left for Bowker Creek improvements.
Replacement school scheduled to be finished by January 2025.
