Oh the relief for those missing their arts fix

And so, it was on Saturday night when I attended the Waimumu Art Exhibition artists’ night as a plus one. It was a bit of a journey from Invercargill and fortunately this time, I did not get lost. From the moment I got out of my car I was enveloped in an experience that was carefully curated by a team who have a winning formula. Outside the hall were light panels that lead you into the exhibition through a small foyer complete with native bird song. Once inside the hall, hosts Debbie, Jocelyn, and their team greeted everyone with a cheery smile and the offer of a refreshment.
