Titled 'Paddington in Peru', the third installment of the beloved stuffed bear will enter production in summer with Ben Whishaw returning as the voice of the title character.
The film will see Paddington getting into sticky situations in "deepest, darkest Peru", his country of birth.
The little brown bear makes his return to his place of birth in the follow-up to the first two critically-acclaimed films.
Studiocanal is currently planning to start the production of its long-in-development Paddington 3 this coming summer.
