It should come as no surprise then that the channel is once again championing an exciting Irish comedy export in the form of
Frank of Ireland, a new sitcom centred around a layabout thirty-something year old named Frank and his intellectually challenged best friend, appropriately named Doofus.
The pair are played by brothers Domhnall and Brian Gleeson, two of Ireland's most celebrated actors, each a bona fide star in his own right who between them have been a part of some of the biggest TV and film productions of the last decade From Brian's breakthrough in the RTÉ classic

Instead of viewing movies on big screens with friends and a live audience, we have all been sitting at home alone, watching online on laptops. Despite the fact that there are some truly great movies this year, it has been, for me at least, a very dispiriting couple of months because the shortlisted movies have been so often miserable and so lacking in mischief or good simple fun. The show continued filming on Monday and they used a special clapperboard as a tribute to McCrory.

On Friday, April 16, Helen McCrory, who was best known for her roles as Narcissa Malfoy from the Harry Potter films and Polly Gray in Peaky Blinders, passed away after battling cancer. But on Monday (April 19), the crew of the period crime drama resumed filming the upcoming season, and it was a lovely one. It has the potential to get your eyes moist.
